Richard Gates, TFS Capital
Rich is a Co-Portfolio Manager at TFS Capital LLC. Rich performs research for strategy development and is also responsible for overseeing trading and execution at the firm. He received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia. Rich is featured in Michael Lewis’s most recent book, Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt. He was instrumental in helping shed light on issues with high frequency trading used by large Wall Street firms in dark pools and exchanges.
